Ferguson and Our Corporate Responsibility
At Ferguson no one expects more from us than we do. Whether it is going the extra mile to help someone in our community or providing green product solutions to help the environment, Ferguson is committed to being a good corporate citizen and a good member of our community.

Ferguson teams with the American Heart Association to promote healthy living across the country
At Ferguson, we believe healthy living starts at home in the kitchen. That's why we take such great pride in helping our customers design the kitchen of their dreams, and why we are proud to team up with the American Heart Association to raise awareness about heart disease and stroke.
In 2010, more than 400 Ferguson walkers from 55 fundraising teams in 22 markets participated in the Start! Heart Walks. The walks spanned across nine states, and raised more than $110,000 for AHA. In 2011, our goal is to raise at least $250,000. Additionally, our branch network showed support for the cause by wearing red on National Go Red day some locations hosted heart-healthy cooking classes.
Ferguson is recognized as a WaterSense Partner of the Year
The Environmental Protection Agency honored Ferguson as the first Retail and Distributor WaterSense Partner of the Year. Ferguson earned this special distinction from the EPA for promoting water-efficiency awareness and taking action.
Ferguson received the award, in part for their efforts to highlight the new PROFLO high efficiency toilets and other watersaving devices. Both Ferguson's customers and the nation's water resources benefit from this water-efficiency know-how.
"The demand for Green is rising dramatically and to continue meeting the needs of our customers, we need to bring additional focus to Green product education," said Jim Feltman, Chief Marketing Officer for Wolseley's North America Division.
WaterSense, a partnership program launched by the EPA, seeks to protect the future of our nation's water supply by offering people a simple way to use less water.
Ferguson helps the American Red Cross with Disaster Relief Efforts
The tornadoes that occurred during the spring of 2011 were deadly, record-breaking, and heart-breaking. They ravished many communities and even destroyed two Ferguson branches. Many Ferguson associates rolled up their sleeves and assisted with the relief efforts.
The St. Louis branch teamed with RIGID tools and hosted a customer event that raised more than $1,000 for the American Red Cross and victims of the Joplin, Mo. tornado. Multiple branches in the South hosted raffles and raised more than $22,000 for the local chapters of the American Red Cross assisting with the relief efforts of several tornado-damaged communities.
In addition, our branch network supports the American Red Cross by hosting blood drives for associates and customers.
