One product, two benefits: USA-made SmartFence offers both structural strength (without metal backing) and also the high-tensile performance of geotextile fabricSMARTfence Silt Fence is a structurally enhanced, heavy-duty silt fence that eliminates the need for reinforced wire fence backing. Designed using a value engineering approach, it is equivalent to a wire-backed silt fence or chain-link fencing’s strength and stiffness, however, it costs less and uses less material.
SMARTfence is a woven geotextile fence that withstands high-tensile stresses and prevents excessive material elongation and strain. As a result, it resists fence deflection and ultimate failure due to ripping, sagging, or overturning from forces associated with backwater depths, debris flows, and overtopping.
